# Lucky Wheel

"Lucky Wheel" is one style of the Wheel tool: the host taps "Spin" and it randomly draws a result based on each sector's weight — great for giveaways or deciding what happens next. Unlike the scoring games, wheel results don't count toward any score; whether the result actually gets carried out (like "sing a song") is up to the host and the audience.

## What viewers see

Center stage is a fan-shaped wheel set inside a gold frame, each sector with its own color and label. When the host spins, the wheel rotates with sound, and once it stops the winning sector lights up. Before anyone spins, it's just a static wheel.

## Set it up on the Audience Interaction page

This game isn't configured on the "Scoring Games" page — it's set up on the "Audience Interaction" page instead.

Wait for the wheel to stop before editing sectors. Each set supports up to 20 sectors. If an older set has more than 20 sectors, you can keep using, renaming or removing them, but cannot add more.

**1. Pick the Wheel tool**

Go to "Audience Interaction" in the top navigation, then pick the "Wheel" tab up top.

**2. Start from a template**

Choose **Start blank** or **Start from a template** when adding. A template creates a new setting and leaves your existing settings untouched. Dice and Poll start blank and have no template picker.

**3. Edit the sectors**

Edit each row directly, use −/＋ to change its weight, and use × to remove it. Higher weights are more likely; 0 excludes a prize. Keep at least one prize.

**4. (Optional) Pick a rim style**

The wheel comes in six rim styles: Minimal, Luxe, Neon, Jelly, Gold, and Coral glow — the thin-edged Minimal style is the default. The wheel's color scheme follows whichever rim style you pick, so there's no separate theme color to choose.

**5. Save to Home**

Once you're done, scroll to the bottom and click "Save to Home" — that's what makes this wheel's control card show up on the Home page, so you can spin it straight from Home once you're live.

## My settings

Each tool starts with one default setting. Existing custom settings stay available. Select a name under **My settings**, or use **＋ Add** to create another, up to 20 per tool. The setting name is for you; **Screen title** is what viewers see.

Open **More setting actions** to **Rename**, **Create a copy**, or **Manage settings**. Delete only from management, then use **Undo** to restore a deleted setting. Keep at least one setting.

Choose **Start blank** or **Start from a template** when adding. A template creates a new setting and leaves your existing settings untouched. Dice and Poll start blank and have no template picker.

Edits save automatically when you leave the field. Check for **Saved automatically** before switching. If saving fails, use **Retry**; disconnected changes are not saved. Settings keep content and appearance, not votes, draw results, or history.

Wait for the draw animation to finish before switching or managing settings.

## Running it live

Back on Home, tap the pinned "Wheel" card and click "🎡 Spin" to randomly draw a result (based on sector weight) and play the animation. The "Result History" below logs recent draws (tap "Clear History" to wipe it). Spinning never touches diamond scores — it's purely a host-triggered mini-game.

> **Wheel results don't affect score**
>
The wheel is a standalone interaction tool, independent of the scoring games — the result is just display text, not points added to any team or host.

## Common questions

**Q: Do wheel results affect the leaderboard or any scoring game?**
A: No. The wheel is completely independent from the scoring games — its result is just display text and never adds or subtracts points.

**Q: Is the Wheel panel on Home the same as the one on Audience Interaction?**
A: No. Home only keeps the "Spin" button and result history for live use; sector editing, reference templates, and rim style all live on the "Audience Interaction" page.
