# Connect TikTok LIVE Studio Every game mode is just a web link — paste it into TikTok LIVE Studio's "Browser Source" and it shows up on screen. Transparent areas reveal the stream beneath them without a chroma key. Some game layouts include a background, so check the preview. ## Copy a link Before starting, install the TStar console, connect the intended TikTok LIVE room, and select the game or audience tool you want to show. Keep the console online while the stream runs because it provides the live state used by the overlay. There are two places to grab a link: **1. Choose the game or tool** Open the game or audience tool you want in the console and check its name and preview. You can also copy its link from the preview area on that feature’s page. **2. Copy from Widget Links in the top navigation** Open Widget Links in the top navigation, find the widget and press Copy. Use the recommended dimensions on that row. Each widget has its own link. ## Add it to TikTok LIVE Studio **1. Add a Browser Source** In TikTok LIVE Studio's sources list, click + to add a "Browser Source." **2. Paste the link and set the size** Paste the link you copied into the "URL" field. Set the Browser Source width and height to the recommended size shown beside the copy button. If you change the source dimensions, check the result in the preview before going live; a source that is too small can crop content. **3. Check the layout background and transparent areas** Transparent areas need no chroma key. Some game layouts include a background; check the game settings and preview. If you see a black background, the link was probably pasted wrong or hasn't connected yet — go back and check the [Connect Your TikTok Account](/docs/connect-account) step. > **Compatibility notes** > TikTok LIVE Studio's Browser Source is the combination verified on real hardware. If an overlay does not display as expected, confirm the link is complete and the live room is connected, then contact support. Ready to go?
