Terms of Service

Última actualización: 2026-09-09 · 諾斯科技 (Novus)

Welcome to TStar (the "Service"), provided by 諾斯科技 (Novus, "we" or "us"). By registering, purchasing a license key, or using the Service, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

The Service is a real-time interactive toolkit for live-stream group-broadcast guilds, providing web overlays and a control console for gift PK battles, scoring, leaderboards, song requests, and other audience-interaction game modes that can be added as a browser source in your streaming software. The currently supported live-streaming platform is TikTok LIVE; support for other platforms will be announced on the official website.

We only subscribe to the public live-stream events (such as gifts, comments, joins, and likes) of the streams you designate and that you are authorized to operate, in order to compute scores and render the overlay. The Service does not log in to or act on behalf of any account belonging to your viewers, nor does it send gifts or messages on anyone's behalf.

2. Eligibility and Service Territory

  • You must be at least 18 years old and have full legal capacity to purchase a license key or use the Service.
  • If you use the Service on behalf of a guild, company, or other organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms on that organization's behalf.
  • You may only connect the Service to a live-stream room that you personally operate, or for which you have obtained authorization from the operator.
  • Minor viewers: You may not use the Service to run interactive activities that require collecting the identity of, or inducing spending by, viewers who have not reached the age of consent applicable where they live. Ages of consent vary by jurisdiction (for example, 14 in South Korea, 13 in the United States, and 13 to 16 across the EU), and it is your responsibility to determine and comply with the applicable age based on your audience.
  • Service territory: We do not currently offer the Service to users located within mainland China, and we do not accept orders whose primary place of business is within mainland China. The official website's Simplified Chinese interface exists to serve Chinese-language users in Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, Malaysia, and other regions.

3. Licensing and Payment

  • The Service is provided under a device-based license: after purchase you receive a license key that authorizes a single device (PC) to use the Service at a time during the license period; there is no restriction on which live-stream account you use it with, and you may switch freely. Contact support to transfer your license to a new computer.
  • Plans are available in 30 / 90 / 180 / 365-day terms, all with identical features and no tiered functionality; see the pricing page on the official website for current prices.
  • We may provide free trial codes to seed guilds; the issuance and duration of free codes is at our discretion.
  • Once payment is complete, we issue your license key to the email address on your account. You are responsible for keeping your license key secure and must not resell, share, or publicly disclose it to any third party.
  • Displayed prices may not include consumption tax, VAT, or similar taxes applicable in your location; where local law requires us to collect such tax, it will be shown separately at checkout.

4. Refunds, Withdrawal, and Cancellation Rights

A license key is digital content not supplied on a tangible medium; it is delivered and immediately usable as soon as it is issued. Accordingly, before payment you must first check a box confirming that you agree performance will begin immediately upon issuance of the key, and that you acknowledge you will thereby lose any statutory right of withdrawal or cancellation. The specific rules in each region are as follows:

  • Taiwan: Under the Consumer Protection Act and the Standards for Reasonable Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal in Distance Transactions, digital content supplied with the consumer's prior consent is exempt from the seven-day unconditional right of withdrawal.
  • EU / UK: Under the Consumer Rights Directive and the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, digital content is exempt from the fourteen-day right of withdrawal once supply begins with your express consent and acknowledgment that you thereby lose that right.
  • South Korea: Under the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, reproducible digital content is exempt from the seven-day right of subscription withdrawal (청약철회) once supply has begun; we disclose this clearly on the checkout page in advance.
  • Japan: Statutory cooling-off does not apply to mail-order sales (通信販売); return and cancellation terms are governed by this section and the notices shown at checkout — see also the page required under the Act on Specified Commercial Transactions (特定商取引法に基づく表記).

If the Service becomes unusable due to a material defect attributable to us, and we fail to remedy it within a reasonable time, you may request a refund for the unused portion of your license period. Regardless of the exceptions described above, this does not affect any rights you have under mandatory law in your jurisdiction. For any other individual disputes, please contact us at support@tstar.stream to work things out.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service in connection with a live-stream room you are not legally authorized to operate, or for any unlawful purpose.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, crack, or circumvent the licensing mechanism of the Service, or attempt to obtain its source code.
  • Resell, rent, sublicense, or share your license key, or otherwise circumvent the device-based licensing restriction.
  • Interfere with or attack the Service or its backend servers, or abuse the Service through automated means.

If you violate any of the above, we may deactivate the relevant license key without notice and without a refund.

6. Activities and Content You Run

  • Raffles, slot machines, board-game modes, spin wheels, polls, PK battles, and similar game modes are activities that you host on your own live-stream; the Service only provides scoring and display tools. You are solely responsible for the rules of your activities, the prizes offered and their fulfillment, and for ensuring your activities comply with the laws of your jurisdiction and the platform's rules (including rules on promotional giveaways and lotteries, prohibitions on gambling, and tax reporting).
  • You must not make "sending a gift" the sole way to enter a raffle-type game mode. In many jurisdictions, the combination of "consideration + chance + prize" can constitute a lottery or gambling activity requiring a license (for example, under the lottery laws of various U.S. states), and some jurisdictions cap the value of prizes offered as inducements (for example, Japan's Premiums and Representations Act). You must provide a no-purchase-necessary method of entry, or refrain from offering physical prizes.
  • We do not provide, handle, or guarantee any prizes.
  • The song-request feature only displays viewers' song requests; you are responsible for obtaining any copyright license needed to play music during your stream.
  • You are responsible for ensuring that any text, images, names, and other content you display on your stream through the Service does not infringe the rights of others and complies with the platform's rules.

7. Data Processing Addendum

With respect to the public interaction data of your live-stream viewers, you (the streamer or guild) determine the purposes and means of processing, and we act as a processor on your instructions. This section constitutes the parties' data processing agreement with respect to such data, and remains in effect for as long as you use the Service.

  • Scope and purpose of processing: limited to what is necessary to provide the Service — real-time scoring, on-screen display, generating your session reports, debugging, and abuse prevention. We do not use this data for our own marketing purposes, and we do not use it to train AI models.
  • Duration of processing: from the time you activate the Service until your license ends and data is disposed of pursuant to Section 12.
  • Processing on instructions: we process such data only on your instructions and under these Terms; if we believe an instruction violates applicable law, we will notify you and may suspend that processing.
  • Confidentiality and personnel: access to data is limited to personnel who need it, and such personnel are bound by confidentiality obligations.
  • Security measures: data is encrypted in transit, passwords are stored only as hashes, and access is controlled on a least-privilege basis.
  • Sub-processors: the third-party services we engage are named on our Sub-processors List. When we add or replace one, we will update that page and give reasonable advance notice; if you have a legitimate objection, you may choose not to renew when your current license period ends.
  • Assisting you with your obligations: when a viewer exercises a right of access, correction, or deletion against you, or in the event of a data breach, we will provide reasonable assistance and information as needed; when we discover a security incident affecting your data, we will notify you without undue delay after becoming aware of it.
  • Cross-border transfers: for the locations where data is processed and the legal basis for transfers, see the Privacy Policy.
  • After termination: data is deleted or returned pursuant to Section 12, unless we are required by law to continue retaining it.

8. Support Access and Account Review

Our staff do not browse the contents of your session reports out of curiosity. Access is limited to the following two circumstances:

  • Customer support you individually authorize: when you report an issue, you can enable "Support Access" on your account page, authorizing us to view your session data for a period you specify in order to help troubleshoot the problem. You can turn it off early at any time, and it expires automatically when the period ends.
  • The minimum necessary for operations and legal compliance: we may access the minimum data necessary to fix an outage, prevent abuse or fraud, or comply with the law or a request from a competent authority.

Any such access is logged (time, scope, and who accessed it); you can email hello@tstar.stream to request the access records related to your account.

9. Your Warranties and Indemnification

  • You warrant that you have given your viewers the notices required under the law of your jurisdiction (for example, disclosing in your stream, profile, or event description that "this live-stream room uses a third-party interactive tool to process public interaction data"), and that you have obtained any required consent or otherwise have a lawful basis to do so.
  • You warrant that you are authorized to operate the live-stream room(s) you connect to the Service, and that the activities you run comply with applicable local law and the platform's rules.
  • If a third party (including one of your viewers) asserts a claim against us, or a competent authority investigates or takes action against us, as a result of your breach of the above warranties, you will indemnify us for the reasonable costs and damages we incur as a result.

10. Third-Party Platforms

The Service has no affiliation, sponsorship, or endorsement from TikTok, ByteDance, or their affiliates. TikTok is a trademark of TikTok Pte. Ltd. and its affiliates, and is referenced solely to describe compatibility.

When using the Service, you remain subject to the Terms of Service and community guidelines of TikTok and any other relevant platform. You bear the risk of any warning, throttling, suspension, or other action a platform may take against your account as a result of your stream content, how you run your activities, or your use of third-party tools.

The Service depends on data that TikTok and other third-party platforms publicly release; if a platform changes its policies, interface, or technology in a way that affects our access to that data, the Service's functionality may be limited or interrupted, which is not something fully within our control.

11. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

  • The Service is provided "as is." We work to maintain low latency and accurate scoring, but we do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data from third-party platforms will be timely or complete.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service; our aggregate liability is capped at the license fees you paid in connection with the dispute in question.
  • This section does not exclude or limit liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law (for example, liability for willful misconduct or gross negligence, or rights consumers have under mandatory law in their jurisdiction).

12. Changes, Suspension, and Termination

We may from time to time add, modify, or remove game modes and features, and may suspend the Service for maintenance, upgrades, or force majeure. If you breach these Terms, we may suspend or terminate your right to use the Service.

Data disposal after termination: after your license expires or your account is terminated, your session reports remain available for ninety days so you can log in and export them; after that, we will delete or anonymize them unless the law requires continued retention (for example, tax records). You may also request earlier deletion at any time.

13. Changes to These Terms and Notice

We may revise these Terms from time to time and will post the updated date on the official website. For a material change adverse to you, we will notify you by email to the address on your account at least thirty days before it takes effect; if you do not accept the change, you may stop using the Service before it takes effect and request a refund for the unused portion of your license period. Other, non-material adjustments take effect as of the date they are posted.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan). The parties agree that the Taiwan Taipei District Court shall be the court of first instance for any dispute arising from the Service.

If you reside outside Taiwan as a consumer, this section does not affect the protections you are entitled to under the mandatory law of your place of residence, or your right to bring proceedings in your local courts.
