Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-07-03 · 諾斯科技 (Novus)

This policy explains how 諾斯科技 (Novus) collects, uses, and protects data when you use TStar. Our principle is simple: we only process data necessary to provide the service, and we never sell your personal data.

1. Information We Collect

  • Information you provide: the email address and contact information you submit when purchasing or applying for a trial, and information needed to verify payment (such as the last five digits of a transfer account).
  • License information: the license key issued to you, the bound device identifier, and activation/verification records, used to maintain device-based licensing.
  • Public live-room events: while the service is running, it processes publicly broadcast events from the live room you specify (gifts, comments, entrances, likes, etc.) for real-time scoring and display. This data is processed mostly in real time and, in principle, is not retained long-term in our database.
  • Optional features like avatar frames: if you use the avatar frame / host-frame feature, we may read the public avatar of the relevant public account for display purposes.
  • Technical logs: connection and error logs (such as IP address, timestamp, and event type) used for debugging and abuse prevention.

2. How We Use Information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the service's scoring, PK, and interactive game modes.
  • To issue and verify license keys, maintain device-based licensing, and send service-related notification emails.
  • To detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and violations of the Terms of Service.
  • To respond to your inquiries and provide customer support, within the scope you've agreed to.

3. What We Don't Do

  • We never log into or operate your viewers' accounts, and never send gifts or messages on their behalf.
  • We never sell or rent your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Third-Party Services

To provide the service, we may use the following types of third-party services, sharing only the data necessary:

  • TikTok / livestream platforms: the source of public livestream event data for this service; your relationship with the platform is governed separately by its own privacy policy.
  • Connection / signing services: technical services used to maintain a stable connection to the livestream event feed.
  • Email delivery services: used to send license keys and transactional notifications.
  • Website hosting and analytics: hosting for our website and basic traffic analytics, to help us understand how the site is used.

5. Cookies & Analytics

Our website may use essential cookies and basic analytics tools to keep the site running and measure anonymized traffic. You can manage cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect your experience on the site.

6. Data Retention & Security

We retain data only for as long as necessary to provide the service, meet legal obligations, or resolve disputes, and we take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect it. Public live-room events are mostly processed in real time and are not retained long-term in a personally identifiable form.

7. Your Rights

To the extent permitted by law, you may request to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, or withdraw your consent. Please contact us by email, and we'll handle your request within a reasonable timeframe.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time and will post the updated date on our website. For material changes, we'll make a reasonable effort to notify you separately.
