License Purchase & Activation
Purchase flow
Sign up or log in first
You need a TStar website account before you buy. License keys live under your account, not under whatever email string you typed in — once you're logged in, your account page is where you check which keys you own and when they expire.
Pick a plan
Go to the "Pricing" section on the website and choose a plan (30 / 90 / 180 / 365 days), then continue to checkout.
Choose how to pay
Checkout offers two options: online payment and bank transfer. If you pick bank transfer, the page shows the transfer details (bank, account name, account number, amount); once you've paid, reply with the last five digits of the transferring account so we can match your payment.
Get your key
With online payment, the key is issued automatically, shown on the confirmation page, and tied to your account right away. Bank transfers are matched by hand, so support emails the key to your account address within 1 business day. The installer itself comes from the download page.
Keys belong to an account, not to an email string
The old form let you submit an email and nothing else, so a single typo left the key stranded with no owner and very hard to recover. Now you have to log in first, and the key is filed under your account from the start.
License keys are a long string of letters and numbers — copy and paste the whole thing when you activate, no need to type it out by hand.
How to activate
When you open the console, a standalone activation screen appears in front of the main app — you can't get past it until the key is activated.
Open the console
The "TStar Console" activation window sits in the middle of the screen, with the note: "Enter your license key to get started. The key binds to this PC; you can switch TikTok accounts freely."
Paste your license key
Paste your license key into the "License key" field.
Click “Activate and enter”
Once it validates, you go straight into the console. Every launch after that skips this screen — you never re-enter the key.
Don't have a key yet? The activation screen has a "No license key yet? Buy on the website" link at the bottom that takes you to the pricing page.
Once activated, the next step is connecting your TikTok account — see Connect Your TikTok Account.
The key binds to a PC, not to a TikTok account
One key, one PC
Your license key is bound to this PC. After activation you can freely switch which TikTok account you go live with on the same PC — the key is never asked for again.
To move the same key to a different PC, log into "My account" on our website and press "Unbind device" on the license card — no need to email support. See Account & License Management for the full steps.
Renewing an expired license
Once the license expires, the next launch drops you back onto the same activation screen with the message "License expired on <date> — enter a new key to renew and continue." Paste the new key and click "Renew and enter."
If it expires while you're already inside the console, you don't have to restart: an extra "License key (renewal)" field appears in the bottom connection bar — paste the new key there and carry on.
What the activation errors mean
| Message on screen | What it means and what to do |
|---|---|
| License key not found | Typo or a stray space. Re-paste the whole key. |
| License has expired | Your subscription period ended. Renew, or contact support about your subscription status. |
| This key is already bound to another PC | One key binds one PC. Unbind it yourself from "My account" on the website, then activate it on the new PC. |
| Subscription deactivated | Usually a payment issue. Contact support. |
| Can't reach the license server | This PC has no network access, or antivirus/firewall is blocking it. Check your connection and retry. |
Still stuck? Email hello@tstar.stream with your license key.
