Audience Teams

"Audience Teams" is a spin on PK Duel: it's still Red vs. Blue fighting for the highest diamond score, but viewers pick their own side by typing in chat instead of the host assigning everyone ahead of time. With "Comment-to-Join Team" turned on, whatever a viewer sends counts for their team — not just the representative gift, like in PK Duel.

What viewers see

Two team cards sit in the bottom-right corner of the overlay: name, color, and live score for Red and Blue. If you've set up team members, each card also shows a "X members" line. Scores tick up in real time — nothing the host needs to update by hand.

Set up before you go live

  1. Pick the game

Go to the "Scoring Games" page, and under step 1 pick "Audience Teams". This game is fixed to two sides, Red and Blue — no side count to pick.

  2. Turn on Comment-to-Join Team

In the workbench below, switch "Comment-to-Join Team" to "On". Once it's on, viewers can join a side by commenting "1/紅/紅隊" or "2/藍/藍隊" (keep typing the Chinese keywords as-is — they don't change with language), and after that anything they gift counts toward their team's score. Leave it off and it behaves exactly like PK Duel: only bound representative gifts score.

  3. (Optional) Bind a dedicated gift

If you still want a "this specific gift always counts for this side" effect on top, click a side's slot under "Representative Gift Binding" and pick a gift — same as PK Duel. A bound gift always wins over a viewer's chat pick.

  4. (Optional) Set team members for revenue split

Add hosts to a team under "Team Members (Revenue Split)", and the post-show revenue report will split that team's diamonds evenly across its members. Skipping this doesn't affect scoring — it only changes how the report is broken down.

  5. Set the round time

Use the "3 min / 5 min / 10 min" quick buttons under "Round Time", or type in a custom number of minutes.

  6. Save

Click "Save & pin to Home" — it saves into a config slot and pins itself to the Home page automatically; you'll run the round from Home.

Running it live

Back on the Home page's live console, click "Start (N min)" to kick things off — the countdown only starts once you press it. Comment-to-Join Team keeps working the whole round; viewers can join or switch sides anytime by typing the keyword. You can "Pause"/"Resume" any time mid-round, and each side has "−100 / +100" buttons for manual score adjustments. When time's up, the side with the higher score wins automatically and the overlay shows a win banner; "Reset" (with a confirm tap) zeroes the whole round to start over.

Where the score comes from

Scores only count the diamond value TikTok actually reports (diamond_count). Combo gifts are settled once, when the combo ends. The comment keywords for joining a team ("紅", "藍", and so on) are fixed matching strings — they stay in Chinese no matter what language the host or viewers use.

Common questions

Q: Without "Comment-to-Join Team" on, can viewers still pick a side? A: No. With it off, this game behaves exactly like PK Duel — only a bound representative gift scores, and chat comments aren't read as team-join commands.

Q: Can a viewer switch teams mid-stream? A: Yes — commenting the other team's keyword moves them over. Diamonds already scored for their old team stay put; only gifts sent afterward count for the new team.

Q: If Comment-to-Join Team and a dedicated gift binding are both on, which wins? A: The dedicated gift wins. Sending a bound representative gift always scores for the side it's bound to, and it also updates that viewer's chat-picked team to match. Only unbound gifts fall back to whichever side they last picked in chat.

Q: Does this game's score affect PK Duel results? A: No. Audience Teams scores independently — it never gets mixed into PK Duel's win/loss decision.
