License Purchase & Activation
Purchase flow
Pasted or typed license keys are automatically capitalized and grouped with hyphens. Both current and older keys work; activation is available once the key is complete.
At checkout, choose 1–10 licenses of the same plan and pay the displayed total once. Every payment method shown supports this quantity. After payment is confirmed, all keys appear separately under your account and in the confirmation email; one key activates one computer. The order history shows one order with its quantity and total. Renew each key separately; renewal purchases always have quantity 1.
Sign up or log in first
You need a TStar website account before you buy. License keys live under your account, not under whatever email string you typed in — once you're logged in, your account page is where you check which keys you own and when they expire.
Pick a plan
Go to the "Pricing" section on the website and choose a plan (30 / 90 / 180 / 365 days), then continue to checkout.
Choose how to pay
Checkout offers two options: bank transfer in Taiwan and PayPal for everywhere else. Either way the page shows what to pay, where to pay it, and an order reference — please include that reference when you pay.
Pay the total shown at checkout. If the page displays 5% tax or invoice fields, check the breakdown and enter any needed company details. Do not add an extra amount when it is not shown.
Get your key
PayPal activates the license on your account automatically once payment completes. For a bank transfer, press “I've paid” on the checkout page or on that order in “My account” and enter the last five digits of the sending account. No email needed. Support checks it by hand and activates it within 1 business day. The installer itself comes from the download page.
Keys belong to an account, not to an email string
The old form let you submit an email and nothing else, so a single typo left the key stranded with no owner and very hard to recover. Now you have to log in first, and the key is filed under your account from the start.
License keys are a long string of letters and numbers — copy and paste the whole thing when you activate, no need to type it out by hand.
How to activate
When you open the console, a standalone activation screen appears in front of the main app — you can't get past it until the key is activated.
Open the console
The "TStar Console" activation window sits in the middle of the screen, with the note: "Enter your license key to get started. The key binds to this PC; you can switch TikTok accounts freely."
Paste your license key
Paste your license key into the "License key" field.
Click “Activate and enter”
Once it validates, you go straight into the console. Every launch after that skips this screen — you never re-enter the key.
Don't have a key yet? The activation screen has a "No license key yet? Buy on the website" link at the bottom that takes you to the pricing page.
Once activated, the next step is connecting your TikTok account — see Connect Your TikTok Account.
The key binds to a PC, not to a TikTok account
One key, one PC
Your license key is bound to this PC. After activation you can freely switch which TikTok account you go live with on the same PC — the key is never asked for again.
To move the same key to a different PC, log into "My account" on our website and press "Unbind device" on the license card — no need to email support. See Account & License Management for the full steps.
Renewing an expired license
After a license expires there is a 3-day grace period, and the console keeps working normally during it. A yellow banner appears at the top of the screen showing the expiry date, when the grace period ends, and how much time is left. It turns red when less than one day remains. The banner has a button that takes you to the website to renew (for a trial key, to buy a license).
Once the grace period ends, the console returns to the key entry screen. A paid license shows "License expired, grace period over"; a trial key shows "Trial has ended." After you renew or buy a license on the website, come back to this screen, enter the key and click "Activate and Enter."
Don't let it expire mid-stream
If the grace period ends while you are live, the console returns to the key entry screen within about 1 hour, and you can no longer operate the games. You also can't renew on screen in the middle of a stream. When you see the yellow banner, renew within the grace period.
If you click "Renew" on the original key under "My account" on the website during the grace period, the expiry date is extended automatically and you don't need to re-enter the key in the console. The yellow banner disappears after you reopen the console.
What the activation errors mean
| Message on screen | What it means and what to do |
|---|---|
| License key not found | Typo or a stray space. Re-paste the whole key. |
| Your trial has ended | The trial key's days and grace period are both used up. Buy a license on the website, then enter the new key on the activation screen. |
| Your license has expired and the grace period is over | The key's validity and the 3-day grace period have both passed. Renew under "My account" on the website, then re-enter the key on the activation screen. |
| This key is already bound to another PC | One key binds one PC. Unbind it yourself from "My account" on the website, then activate it on the new PC. |
| Subscription deactivated | Usually a payment issue. Contact support. |
| Can't reach the license server | This PC has no network access, or antivirus/firewall is blocking it. Check your connection and retry. |
