Connect Your TikTok Account
License activation binds to the PC and happens once (see License Purchase & Activation). Which TikTok account you go live with is decided separately, every session, in the persistent connection bar at the bottom of the console — and you can change it any time.

Enter the TikTok account
Type the handle you want to stream with into the "TikTok account" field (no need to add
@— the system handles that). Pressing Enter is the same as clicking "Connect."Or pick one from “Recent”
The "Recent" dropdown on the left lists accounts recently connected on this PC, showing avatar + nickname +
@handle. One click fills the field — no retyping.Click “Connect”
Once connected, that same button becomes "Disconnect."
Switching accounts doesn't need re-activation
To stream with a different TikTok account on the same PC, just change the field and click "Connect" — the license key is never asked for again. Accounts that connect successfully are saved to the "Recent" list for one-click reuse.
What "Connect backend first" means
The "backend" is the TStar service that does the scoring. The console has to reach it before it can connect a TikTok account.
Fix the backend first — it isn't the TikTok account
When the button reads "Connect backend first", the console hasn't reached the scoring service yet, and the TikTok account field is locked. Clicking that button takes you straight to the connection panel on the Settings page.
The most common cause is antivirus or firewall software blocking the console's network access. The connection panel has a "Connection diagnostics" button that runs a round of checks and lets you copy the full report in one click — when it still won't connect and you can't tell why, emailing that report to support is the fastest path.
What happens on a disconnect
If the connection drops mid-broadcast, the console reconnects automatically — you don't have to do anything. While reconnecting, scores freeze in place instead of jumping around, and once reconnected everything re-syncs to the correct state. No need to refresh the overlays.
Clicking "Disconnect" actively leaves the room and the overlays stop updating; click "Connect" again to resume.
Next step after connecting
Once connected, the system automatically fetches the list of gifts that room can actually receive. Before going live you must use that list to bind "representative gifts" to each side or host — nothing is bound out of the box, and unbound gifts don't score. The console shows a yellow warning until you do. See Your First PK.
