Console Tour
The console is the app you actually operate while you're live. This page walks through what each tab across the top does and when you'd use it; for how each game works, see the game guides, and for tools that don't affect scoring, see Interactive Widgets.

Home: pinned cards and live mode
Home is mission control while you're live. Set up a game on the Scoring Games or Audience Interaction page, give it a name, and press "Save to Home" — it becomes a card on the Home page. The Scoring Games page is a pure settings page: picking a slot, picking a game card, changing parameters and pressing "Save to Home" never change what viewers see (the viewer view); "Save to Home" only pins that card to Home.
- Scoring game cards: Home is the only place that switches the viewer view. When no round is running, tapping a card switches the viewer view to that game, which first shows "Getting ready". While a round is running, tapping another card only shows that card's settings and does not switch (see "Viewing" below), so you don't accidentally zero out the score mid-match. Monopoly is the exception: its board is kept, so you can switch at any time. Audience-interaction tools aren't affected.
- Audience-interaction cards: tap one and its control panel expands below, without touching whatever scoring game is currently running.
- Cards can be dragged to reorder; click the ✎ on a card to rename it; "Edit settings" takes you back to that game's settings page; what you change belongs to that card only — if it is the card viewers are currently watching, the change shows up in the viewer view right away, and other cards only have their own settings changed.
Live mode
Once the TikTok live room actually connects, the console opens live mode automatically; no layout-switch button is needed. Live mode enlarges common controls and hides setup details. Use the tabs above to change settings. Settings also offers the dark Control room theme. To finish immediately, end the stream in TikTok LIVE Studio, then press Stop connection and confirm. This only stops receiving data; it does not end your TikTok stream. While the console stays open, it keeps waiting before and after a stream and reconnects automatically when you go live again. After a stream ends, once both the console and the overlay are closed, it stops waiting after 10 continuous minutes without a new stream. Your saved settings and recorded session data remain. If it has stopped, reopen the console and press Connect (pressing Start on a game after reopening does not reconnect); gifts sent before the room reconnects are not received.
Tapping another card mid-round: "Viewing"
While a round is still running (PK running or paused, song request open or closed, cheer grid running or paused, arena, free stage, or cheer wall running), tapping another scoring-game card on Home does not switch. That card is marked "Viewing", only its settings are shown below, and you can edit them as usual, but there are no Start or open-round buttons; the viewer view and the round in progress are completely unaffected.
A strip at the very top says something like "Viewers are watching PK Duel, round in progress 03:12 → Back to PK controls"; click it to return to the card that is running. Once the round ends, tap the card again and only then does it actually switch. Monopoly is the exception: it keeps its own board and is never blocked.
The full flow for switching games:
Wait for this round to end
When the round ends, Home controls go back to standby.
Tap the new card on Home
That game's overlay link now shows "Getting ready". Each game has its own overlay link.
Swap the source in TikTok LIVE Studio
Show the new game's link and hide the old game's source.
Adjust, then press Start
Check that the picture looks right, then press "Start".
The preview on the left of the Scoring Games page shows the card you are editing in its standby ("Getting ready") state, with that card's own hosts, stickers and style; for what is actually live, look at Home. Representative stickers are separate for every card, so two PK cards can bind different stickers; the host list, however, is shared by everything, so a host added anywhere shows up in the list.
Live stats and the gift feed
Live stats has three tabs: Host Rankings, Top Donors and Last Round. The first two follow the current round; Last Round retains the most recent result. The gift feed lists individual gifts and can filter by gift or viewer. Review full archived sessions on the website.
While connected, gift reassignment is available in PK Duel / Gauntlet PK / Gift Wall.
Host Roster
Set up today's hosts before you go live. The roster order automatically maps to every game's player slots — the two sides of a PK, who shows up on the avatar frame — all pulled from this one list, so you don't have to set it up separately in every game. Use the "Move up / Move down" arrows at the end of each row to change the order; the Monopoly seat list has the same arrows, and that order is the roll order.
Add a host
Press "+ Add Host" and type their TikTok account — the console auto-fetches their nickname and avatar. Accounts you've added recently stay in the "Recent" list, so next time you can just tap them.
Set the order
The roster order is the default slot order. You can still adjust it per game on "Who's on this round," or press "Fill all from roster order" to fill every slot at once.
Someone shows up who isn't on the roster?
If a viewer sends a gift addressed to someone not on the roster, the console pops up a "Hosts detected outside the roster" alert — one click on "Add to roster" fixes it. If it's not actually a host, press "Not a host" to dismiss the alert.
Gifts to hosts outside the roster don't score for anyone
This is one of the most common reasons scores don't move. Add everyone who might go on stage before you start, and remember to add anyone who joins partway through.
Widget Link Manager
"Widget Links" opens a dialog listing every widget's link:
- Current game / tool: the top slot is always the link for whatever you have open right now — switch games and it switches with you.
- Full list: filter by "Scoring Games," "Audience Interaction," or "Rankings/Other," or just search by name (e.g. "wheel"). Each link shows its suggested size — set that when you paste it into LIVE Studio.
- Appearance theme: some widgets have an "Appearance theme" dropdown (Luxe Gold / Neon Arena / Soft Jelly, etc.) — after switching themes, re-copy the link and paste it back in for the change to take effect.
- Reset all widget links: if a link accidentally leaks (say, it shows up in a shared screenshot), pressing this button invalidates every old link right away — just re-copy and paste the new ones back into LIVE Studio.
A copied link stays valid indefinitely — you don't need to re-paste it on a schedule. If the console prompts you before going live that a link needs updating, just follow the prompt and re-copy it. See Connect TikTok LIVE Studio for how to paste it in, and Overlay Sizing & Layout Guide for sizes.

Auto-update
The console checks for new versions on its own. When you're not live, it downloads them in the background, so there's nothing to click. Once the download finishes, the update installs automatically the next time you close the console, and reopening it gives you the new version. To update right away, press "Restart and Complete Update"; it takes about 30 seconds, during which the console closes and reopens automatically.
If your version is too old and no longer supported, the prompt keeps showing until you update.
Don't update mid-stream
Updating closes the console, so doing it mid-stream will freeze your overlay. Also avoid shutting down or pulling the power during installation — if that does happen, see the FAQ for how to recover.
